Looking for a way to attract national ASTD members to your chapter?
Chapter members who are also national ASTD members tend to be more engaged, and choose to be knowledge leaders in the profession and change makers in their own backyard. One way to attract national members to your chapter is to request a list of national-only members from your chapter coach. Contact these members directly and invite them to participate in your chapter meetings. You’ll strengthen your local membership and create a larger leadership pool for your chapter.
Looking for a way to increase attendance at monthly meetings?
Looking for a way to increase attendance at monthly meetings? Invite guests to attend their first meeting for free! Make a simple “guest pass” and share with your members to give to others, or post on your website. Engage members by inviting them to board meetings
Looking to engage your members and to get them more involved? Invite members to attend board meetings periodically. This gives them a chance to see the “behind the scenes” work that makes your chapter great, and might pique their interest. This also may help with chapter succession planning
Use the correct chapter logo
Are you using the correct chapter logo? Did you know that in order to meet the brand identity requirements of CORE element 1.1, you should be using your chapter-specific logo on your website, business cards, stationery, newsletters, meeting notices, and other communications? Now's a good time to take inventory and make sure you've got the right logo in place. Find your logo here.
