The following chapters have signed their chapter-national affiliation agreement.

Of these chapters, 33 signed the agreement at the 2009 ASTD Chapter Leaders Conference and had the opportunity to have their photo taken with national ASTD CEO & President Tony Bingham.

HISTORY AND DEFINITIONS

As chapters have long operated under the Chapter Operating Requirements (CORE) for continued affiliation, chapter leaders expressed the importance of establishing reciprocal National Operating Requirements (NORE), which were formalized in September 2009.  It is common practice for organizations similar to ASTD to have a reciprocal agreement in place. An affiliation is a standard legal document to clarify reciprocal roles and responsibilities between partners.

THE CHAPTER-NATIONAL AFFILIATION AGREEMENT

A formal affiliation agreement will be provided to each chapter via chapter coaches the week of October 12, 2009. Chapter bylaws should be referenced to determine authorized signers. This agreement will be signed once only and will remain as an agreement between national ASTD and chapters to be abided by chapter leader and national ASTD successors.

SIGNING DATES

All chapters should have a signed agreement on file with national ASTD no later than January 31, 2010.
