National chapter-related committee selection process

 

After the July 31 national chapter-related committee applications deadline, the following steps will take place to select committee members:

 

  1. Applications will be sorted by committee preference of applicants
  2. The committee staff managers will review the applications and determine if the individuals will be a good fit for their committee or better suited for other chapter-related national committees
  3. Once a pool of candidates is determined for each committee, the staff manager and incoming committee chair will interview candidates
  4. Candidates will be notified of selection by early September, and should plan to attend the 2008 ASTD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC) October 31 and November 1 for committee onboarding
