Data collection for the 2010 ASTD State of the Industry Report has begun. The deadline for submitting your organization's metrics is June 15, 2010. You can enter your data through the WLP Scorecard here. 
The State of the Industry Report is ASTD's annual review of trends in workplace learning and performance and includes data from ASTD BEST Awards Winners, ASTD Benchmarking Forum Members and other organizations from 2001 to date.
The State of the Industry Report can be purchased in PDF (ASTD members receive the download as part of their member benefits) or print versions from the ASTD Store.
 The WLP Scorecard is an online real-time benchmarking and decision support tool that allows organizations to monitor and benchmark a broad range of learning function indicators. The WLP Scorecard includes tools your organization can use to customize reports with subsets of organizations and indicators, compare your learning function's alignment, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability with other organizations, and diagnose strengths and weaknesses in your organization's learning function. The ASTD Benchmarking Forum has been building its consortium of private and public sector organizations from around the world since 1991. Companies join the Forum to benchmark learning and performance improvement processes, practices, and outcomes against the accomplishments of Forum members and to engage a worldwide network of high-level professionals and organizations. Learning Executives Confidence Index (LXCI)
The ASTD Learning Executives Confidence Index (LXCI) for Q4 2009 was 60.2 based on responses from 271 learning executives to an online invitation-only survey, demonstrating that collectively learning executives expect their learning functions to remain the same or marginally improve over the next six months.
