About the Authors

Maureen Orey has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of management, training, human resources, diversity, and career development. She holds a master's degree in education from the University of San Diego and a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University. Her first book is titled Successful Staffing in a Diverse Workplace.

Jenni Prisk is an award-winning motivational speaker, communications coach, and trainer. In founding Prisk Communication in 1989, her mission is to provide comprehensive and outstanding training in public speaking and communication skills to remove the associated risk and fear and to engender confidence, effectiveness, and positive results. She works with companies and individuals in diverse aspects of communication. A native of New Zealand, she holds a diploma in adult teaching and is qualified as a human relations and communications instructor for the New Zealand Marriage Guidance Coucil. She also has a diploma in speech and drama from London's Trinity College.
