About the Authors

Jeffrey and Linda Russell are co-directors of Russell Consulting, a Wisconsin-based firm that provides consulting and training services to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Their vision is to help create and sustain great organizations through a balanced blend of theory, research, and real-world experience. For more than 20 years, the Russells have offered services focused on leadership, organization development, strategic planning, performance coaching and performance management.

Jeff holds a master of arts in industrial relations and is an adjunct faculty member for the University of Wisconsin.  He is also in demand as a presenter for local, state, and international conferences.

Linda has completed graduate work in rehabilitation counseling. She specializes in designing and implementing quality-of-worklife surveys, and in facilitating team and organization development interventions.

Linda and Jeff together have written six books, including Strategic Planning Training, Leading Change Training, and Change Basics for ASTD Press. They also publish Workplace Enhancement Notes, a journal of tips for leading organizations.
