CPLP Study Prep Workshop
Begin Your journey to become a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®).
This two-day workshop will help you create your personalized study plan to become a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®). You’ll begin to prepare for both the CPLP knowledge-based exam and the work product submission.
Audience
This program is designed for those who have the following qualifications:
- If you have three years of relevant work experience in the workplace learning and performance profession
- If you have decided that certification aligns with your career goals
- If you have the resources required (time, money, energy) to invest in the CPLP®
- If you are ready to start preparing to earn your CPLP®
- If you want to know where your understanding of CPLP® content is strong, and also where you need to invest more effort in preparation in order to be successful.
Course Description
This two-day workshop is designed to help participants plan and execute their personal study plan for the CPLP using the ASTD Learning System as the primary study tool. During the workshop, participants use the Learning System and a 250-item sample assessment as tools to plan their future study. Participants also review the requirements for the work product submission component of the certification process. Samples of successful work product submissions are provided. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will be able to construct an eight- to ten- week study plan that pinpoints where you need to focus and personalize your efforts as you prepare for the exam. The workshop does not teach the content of the Learning System or the exam; it indicates for you areas where your study will be most beneficial.

ASTD can make arrangements for the CPLP® Study Prep Workshop to be offered at your organization. You might find it is easier, and more cost effective, for one of our facilitators to come to your site and teach a three-day seminar. Your attendees participate in the same learning experience offered at our public seminars, but have the convenience of being at your site and the benefit of covering the material with company peers.
