Proposal Submission is now closed. Click below to update a speaker profile. You will login in with the speaker's eCode. Update Profile

You will have 2000 characters (including the spaces) for each of the following fields: Description, Delivery Methods, and Speaker Biography. Use Word Tools/Word Count to check the characters amount before you enter into the Proposal Submission Template to avoid delays and error messages.

Proposal Submission Steps

1. You will have 60 minutes to complete your submission once you enter the template. You may modify a submission after it has been submitted until the deadline.

2. Proposals must include all requested information and must be submitted directly online by the advertised deadline.

3. You should prepare your information before entering the online submission template using Word or WordPerfect and keep a copy of your proposal(s) for your records. ASTD is not able to send you a copy of your proposal(s).

4. To help you prepare, we have listed below the information you will be required to submit on the electronic submission form and included a PDF of step-by-step instructions and screen shots of the submission template. PLEASE PRINT THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE SUBMISSION PROCESS.

5. Be prepared to enter the following information:

-Submitters name, phone, and email for login. Submitter may be the same person as a speaker.

-Speaker name, full mailing address, phone, and email plus a brief bio (bio maximum: 2000 characters including the spaces).

-Name, full mailing address, phone, email, and bio for each co-speaker. Be sure to update info for speakers already in the system, including Areas of Expertise and Industry Affiliation.

-One reference for each speaker with full mailing address, phone, and email. (Someone outside your organization who has heard you speak and can attest to your speaking ability and content knowledge).

-Proposal title (maximum: 10 words or 80 characters with spaces).

-Select one Format

-Select one Learning Approach

-Select one Target Audience

-Succinct description (maximum: 2000 characters including the spaces)

-Up to three Learning Objectives—please use the guidelines for Application-Focused Learning Objectives. All objectives must conform to this format [one really good, realistic objective is plenty for a 75- or 90-minute session!]

-Delivery methods to clearly demonstrate how you will conduct the session. (2000 characters includng the spaces).
