To increase learning transfer from conference education sessions back to the workplace, ASTD has developed a variety of resources to support both speakers and conference participants. The Learning Transfer contest encourages you as a learner to tangibly apply what you learned at the ASTD 2009 International Conference & Exposition back on the job. By entering this contest you are eligible to win the prize of a complimentary registration for the ASTD 2010 International Conference & Exposition in Chicago, Illinois to be held May 16-19, 2010. The winner will also be offered a conference session to tell their story and motivate others to transfer their learning. The winner and several runners-up will also be profiled in a Spring 2010 issue of ASTD Links.

Scoring:

5-Outstanding application of learning with measurable results and clear impact

4-Good application of learning showing some results with limited impact

3-Moderate application of learning with minimal results and impact

2-Poor application of learning with no specific results

1-Failed to make the case for application of learning
