Annabelle Reitman
Annabelle Reitman is a career management consultant with over 30 years experience in career counseling and higher education career center management, Annabelle Reitman works with a diverse clientele, from young professionals to early retirees, either in workshops or individual consultations. Reitman's specialty is helping people create focused and targeted documents for job search and marketing purposes. She is a past president and co -president of the ASTD Metropolitan Washington, DC Chapter. Reitman also co-authored Career Moves: Take Charge of Your Training Career NOW! (ASTD Press, May 2001). Reitman is one of the two lead career coaches for the Career Fair at ASTD's annual International and TechKnowledge conferences. For co-authoring the Career Q&A Column, Reitman received the ASTD's Volunteer-Staff Partnership Award for 2000. In 1997-1998, she led the team that revised and updated ASTD's Introduction to HRD Careers booklet. Reitman has written career management articles for thingamajob.com, a job search/recruiter's Website and a career management column for her chapter's newsletter. She has presented at professional conferences for over 20 years. Reitman received her doctorate and master's degrees in higher education administration from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Debora Humphreys
Debora Humphreys, Ph.D., views career development and planning from a large-system perspective with a focus on interconnections among experiences and resources. She has over fifteen years experience in facilitating personal and organizational change within a variety of manufacturing and service organizations. She finds her career passion in helping others re-discover parts of themselves that have been on hold for a while.
Her educational background reflects her various career shifts as she earned a BS degree in sociology from Bucknell University, went on for an M.Ed. at Cleveland State University for the career counseling education, and then on to Case Western Reserve University for her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior. She is also a graduate of the Gestalt Institute's post-graduate degree program.
Deb is currently Director of Organization Development and Measurement at Bright Side, Inc., a personal and team leader development firm that inspires bold change leadership at all organizational levels. Along with her role as lead facilitator, Deb manages the change measurement function and Bright Side's new west coast office. Deb combines teaching, research, and community involvement with her work life. She has taught at the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
