Thirty-one organizations in China, Israel, and the United States
were recognized with awards and citations for their learning and
performance practices and interventions that get results on June 3,
2007, at an awards ceremony and reception during ASTD's
International Conference and Exposition in Atlanta.
Excellence in Practice Awards are presented to proven practices
that have delivered measurable results for their organizations.
Citations are presented for practices from which much is to be
learned.
From 89 submissions received for 2006, ASTD selected 12
award-winning practices and 27 citation-level practices. The
entries went through a blind review conducted by panels of experts
from the workplace learning and performance field.
Practices were recognized in eight categories: career development,
learning technologies, managing change, organizational learning,
performance improvement, technical training, training management,
and workplace learning and development.
