A 21st century version of on-the-job training leverages technology to train employees and track best practices.

Many years ago I had the opportunity to lead a business and labor consortium that created an experimental on-the-job training program that placed 150 unemployed public assistance recipients in jobs for which they were not qualified and surrounded them with a supportive knowledge infrastructure of coaching and mentoring. We wanted to know if it would be possible to skip training program
