Do you have time to volunteer your instructional design skills during a three-month period? If so, e-Learning for Kids, a global not-for-profit foundation that last year reached more than 3 million children in 190 countries (50 percent of the students are based in the United States) with its free courseware, needs your help.
The organization's goal is to develop at least 100 lessons in 2012 for Math World, a virtual world for learning math in the context of different countries and continents. As of March 2012, Math World has launched more than 80 lessons.
Can you help? e-Learning for Kids is looking for skilled instructional designers who can develop two or more storyboards, and have approximately 30 to 40 hours to volunteer during a three-month period.
If you have the skills, time, and interest, e-Learning for Kids can use your assistance. To learn more and participate, complete the volunteer form at http://bit.ly/GIbakb. You will be contacted and provided a storyboard template (with a manual) and a subject matter expertise package (with math examples) to help you begin.
