Have you ever considered writing a book about training? Are you a learning and development professional with fresh, valuable, hard-earned knowledge to share with your colleagues? Do you have an established platform as a writer, speaker, or consultant in the field? Getting published is no easy job, and it’s not for everyone. Find out if you have what it takes to write the next great resource for the learning and development field. The ASTD Bookstore will host a casual conversation about the publishing process on Monday, May 7 from 4:15-5:30 p.m.
Please join ASTD Press editors, first-time authors, and ASTD Community of Practice managers as they discuss how to make it as an author, developing ideas into a manuscript, pitching your idea, the writing process, and related topics. Come with a long list of questions, network with your peers, or merely sit back and listen. Drinks and snacks will also be available! For the most updated information on this event, please refer to astdconference.org/bookstore or the Conference Daily.
