ASTD 2012 is your conference, but all of us who work at ASTD are excited to be a part of making it happen. Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes as we prepare for Denver? I hope that you’ll enjoy a few photos from this morning’s conference preparations here at ASTD headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

The ASTD Customer Care team members are experts on all things ASTD. Have a question about using the setting your preferences on the new ASTD website, registering for the conference, or building your ASTD 2012 schedule? ASTD Membership

Boxes headed to the Membership BoothOne of the best things about working at ASTD is the chance to connect face-to-face with so many of our members at our annual ASTD International Conference & Exposition. One of the ways that we do this is by assisting members and future members at the ASTD Membership Booth near conference registration onsite.

This year, we’ll be assisting with member www.astd.org logins, answering benefits questions, and handing out a few fun giveaways, including custom luggage tags, I♥Training buttons, and red I♥Training carabiner-style keychains. We’ll also be processing renewals at special discounted conference rates, as well as raffling off a lifetime membership to ASTD.

I hope that you’ll have a chance to stop by the booth in Lobby A— John Pierce, Natasha Porter, and I look forward to meeting you, and answering  any questions you may have about your benefits.

This year our membership manager, Jessica Karazsia, will also be presenting two sessions with tips about getting the most out of your member benefits. If you’d like to learn more, please join her for one of her presentations on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 11:15-11:45 a.m. in Mile High Ballroom 1 F or Monday, May 7, 2012 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. in Room 102/104.
