Across government, there is a dire need to educate and empower improved leadership for government. But with time with tight budgets, major time constraints, and shifting priorities,  executive training often falls to the wayside.

To help government leaders address this issue, Jim Trinka, ‎executive director, Leading EDGE program at Department of Veterans Affairs, is conducting the session, “ROI for Executive Development,” at Government Workforce: Learning Innovations on September 3, 2014.

Pat Fiorenza for GovLoop recently posted an interview with Trinka to gain a sneak peek of what Government Workforce attendees can expect to learn. Specifically, Trinka discusses the Leading EDGE (Executives Driving Government Excellence) program, which unites senior leaders to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across government.
