The Association for Talent Development (ATD) and The Public Manager are pleased to announce that the 2014 Government Workforce: Learning Innovations conference qualifies as training for federal employees, according to the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The conference will be held September 3rd in Washington, D.C.

In an acknowledgement letter, OPM Director Katherine Archuleta stated, “Government Workforce: Learning Innovations is a training activity in accordance with 5 U.S.C., chapter 41” and is “open to all federal employees.”

This is the second year that the conference has received training approval from OPM. “We are extremely pleased that the content offerings in the Government Workforce: Learning Innovations conference comply with training requirements for Federal employees,” says Carrie Blustin, the manager of ASTD’s Government Community of Practice and publisher of The Public Manager.
