Trip to Singapore

Hello, everyone!
ASTD team just returned from a very fruitful trip to Singapore, and I would like to take the opportunity to share our experiences with you. What a whirlwind trip it has been!
ASTD's President and CEO Tony Bingham, Senior Director Steve Earnest and I visited Singapore last week. From the minute we got there to the time we left, we were abuzz with wonderful activities. Tony met with more than 130 learning and development professionals, and presented on the topic of The Power of Community - Transform your Organization with Social Media. It was a networking session that was hosted by Singapore Training and Development Association (STADA) and ASTD Global Network Singapore. Tony also presented at the CEO Breakfast Forum hosted by STADA, and exchanged ideas of the key issues in the training and development field with CEOs. Both events were well-attended and a good time was had by all. Additional meetings were conducted by Steve in Singapore and Malaysia.
