Union & Labor 101

ASTD hosted the first of three free exhibitor webinars yesterday to help prepare for the ASTD 2010 EXPO in Chicago. The Union & Labor 101 webinar included a panel of experts from Champion Exposition Services (general services contractor), FOCUS One (oversees electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, and internet), Freeman A/V (audio-visual contractor), and Fire Safety at McCormick Place. Booth set-up guidelines, hand-carried versus shipping, material handling fees, what can be stored in the booth, labor unions, and much more, were explained in detail by our experts. The discussion also included a lengthy Q&A portion from the more than 135 exhibitors attending the live presentation.

The archived presentation is now available and all exhibitors are highly encouraged to share the presentation with any on-site booth staff.
