Dana is a Learning Strategist at Accenture and has 25 years of experience in corporate education. As a Learning Strategist he contributes to solving some of Accenture’s biggest internal learning challenges. In recent years he has lead the company’s work in Mobile Learning and Rapid eLearning. His current responsibilities include leading a learning analytics and research team, introducing learning innovation within the company, and defining and expanding Accenture’s self-study learning architectures.
Dana has a BA from Brigham Young University in Organizational Communications and an MA from Northwestern University’s Institute for the Learning Sciences in the School of Education and Social Policy. Dana also studied Biblical geography, archeology and history while living in Israel and working on his undergraduate degree. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and webinars, and has written articles for T&D, CLO Magazine, and other publications.
Dana lives in St. Charles, Illinois with his wife Julie and three beautiful daughters. When not going to Marching band events, track meets, or supporting his family in other ways, Dana provides service to his Church congregation. In any spare time he may have, Dana enjoys photography and hiking (a great combination) – he especially enjoys hiking in the canyons and mountains of the western US.
