ABOUT ME
John H. “Jack” Zenger is the co-founder and CEO of Zenger Folkman, a professional services firm providing consulting and leadership development programs for organizational effectiveness initiatives. He is a bestselling author, speaker, and national columnist for Forbes and the Harvard Business Review. With over five decades of experience, Jack is considered a world expert in the field of leadership development and organizational behavior. He is a highly esteemed and influential speaker, consultant, and executive coach with the ability to connect with audiences through compelling research and inspiring stories.

His career has combined entrepreneurial, corporate, and academic activities. He co-founded and served as the president and CEO of Zenger-Miller, named by the Wall Street Journal as one of the 10 best suppliers of executive development. He has also served as the president of Provant, group vice president of the Times Mirror Corporation, and vice president of human resources for the Syntex Corporation.

He has received several recognitions and awards, including being named Jack “Top Leader of the Year” by HR.com, receiving the 2014 Thought Leader award from ISA and the Lifetime Achievement in Workplace Learning and Performance award from the American Society of Training and Development, and induction into the Human Resources Development Hall of Fame. Additionally, he and his wife Holly both received honorary doctoral degrees from Utah Valley University.

Jack holds a doctorate in business administration from the University of Southern California, an MBA from UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Utah Valley University and later a Regent for the higher education system in the State of Utah.

His expertise has led him to author or co-author 150 articles on leadership, productivity, e-learning, training, and measurement.
