ABOUT ME
George Wolfe, retired and former Vice President of Global Learning & Development for Steelcase, Inc. is continuing his publication writing, facilitating webinars, and conducting customized strategic consulting for companies desiring help and support in creating a performance based enterprise wide culture and integrated talent management systems and processes. George was employed by Steelcase for 14 years where he spent his last 8 years leading the Steelcase University effort in creating training and development programs for Steelcase and Steelcase dealer employees around the world. In this role he led a team who created a global and enterprise-wide integrated talent management system. Prior to this, he held leadership roles as Director of International Training & Development, Director of International Human Resources and Director of Talent Development. Prior to joining Steelcase, Inc., he was Senior VP of Industry Training, Academic Services, and Professional Certification at the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Educational Institute where he led teams in providing programs and services for the hotel industry worldwide. Earlier in his career, George was Director of Farm Operations for Bob Evans Farm, Inc., and was a professor and administrator for three universities located in the States of Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan. George earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, a Master’s of Education degree from University of Akron, and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah.
