Crystal Kadakia
ABOUT ME

Crystal Kadakia is the co-creator of the Learning Cluster Design (LCD) model, author of Designing for Modern Learning: Beyond ADDIE and SAM (ATD Press, 2020) & two-time TEDx speaker. The LCD model is a powerful method shifting the learning industry from one-and-done curriculums to driving on-the-job change through multiple learning assets. She is the CEO of the LCD Group & also an OD consultant working with nonprofit leaders. Her newest book Social Equations (Greenleaf, 2022) helps STEM professionals upskill on navigating essential social dynamics.

Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s in Organization Development. She has keynoted internationally and has also authored the books, The Millennial Myth: Transforming Misunderstanding into Workplace Breakthroughs (Berrett-Koehler, 2017) and Your Career: How to Make It Happen (Cengage). Crystal is honored to be a Power 30 Under 30, CLO Learning in Practice, and ATD One to Watch award recipient. Originally from Austin, TX, she is now based in Atlanta, GA with her husband Jeremy and son Niam.
