FAQs

Questions about the India Lab

1. Why is it called a lab? Isn’t it just a conference? It is a lab because it is interactive with everyone contributing and engaged in co-creating ideas. While there are presentations and demonstration, they are a minimal part of the design. A saying used in the Forum is: Everyone a teacher; everyone a Learner. The goal is always connecting, collaborating, and learning together.

2. What is the purpose and primary objectives for the 2013 India Lab?

  • As a result of engaging in this collaborative lab participants will have a broader understanding of the critical elements involved with developing and delivering frontline leadership and the impact it can have on business results.

  • After reviewing the resources available, including the activities shared during the lab, participants will be able to use collaborative design and use problem-solving tools from the lab in their own practice.

  • After engaging in this lab participants will be professionally connected with practitioners and thought leaders interested in research and experiences related to developing and delivering frontline leadership and the impact on the business.

3. How do I participate virtually? There is no virtual participation other than the documents that are posted on the Forum's member-only website, attendees will be using Twitter, and there is an option for discussion on the LinkedIn group.
