Program Overview
Technical training isn’t easy, but if you crack the “Technical Training Enigma,” you increase your chances for success.
In the first session of the program, you’ll explore technical training, including those specific items that make technical training different from nontechnical training. You’ll identify the must-have characteristics of a developer and a SME, and have the chance to evaluate your own strengths and areas for improvement.
The second session of the program covers how to successfully and efficiently develop technical training programs. You’ll examine early considerations for development, as well as tips for success when selecting an organizational system, incorporating interactivity, dealing with a specialized jargon, and completing the editing process with a SME.
The third session of the program will cover common challenges and solutions to technical training development. For example:
- projects that never get finished
- technical content that is too complicated for most developers to understand
- teaching products or procedures that are constantly in flux.
Most importantly, you’ll have the chance to discuss and generate solutions for your own technical training challenges.
Throughout the program, you’ll learn detailed solutions, suggestions, and takeaways that address technical training from the big picture perspective and the day-to-day. This program provides specific ideas and strategies for working with SMEs, navigating highly technical content, and more.
At the end of the program, you’ll walk away better prepared to effectively and efficiently tackle your own technical training projects.
