"I found the ASTD Creating Leadership Development Programs Certificate incredibly useful and the networking quite fascinating with all the individuals in the room. As an experienced learning and performance professional for the last 20 years, the content affirmed much of what I already knew but provided a fresh perspective for different insights. The training was well designed and illustrated what good quality training should be. I really appreciate the extensive ROI from this event and I would certainly recommend the program to people who are novices as well as experts."

"This certificate program is excellent for those who already have implemented some type of Leadership Development Programs (LDP) or those who are considering developing one in their organization. If you already have a LDP established, you will still gain valuable information that will help validate and enhance it. We learned strategies and best practices that can be used immediately back on the job. We also were given several usable tools (no reinventing the wheel): timeline, curriculum ideas, LDP application, IDP, Mentor and Mentee applications."

"I think the quality of this program is first-rate. And being able to spend time away from the office to focus in on the critical components, beliefs, attitudes, and competencies is essential to helping me develop a great program. Completing this program affirmed what I had already begun in the design of a leadership development program, and filled in the gaps for what I never knew was missing. All of the information was relevant, timely, and experienced in such a fresh and engaging manner."

Not only did I receive current and evidenced based framework, I also received great ideas from the instructors and other participants."

"This program was excellent! To bring in a consultant would have cost somewhere between $20,000 and $40,000. In just two days I have a timeline for building our leadership development program, with all of the models, tools, and resources. What a great ROI! I will immediately put to use the Organizational Readiness Audit, which I can use to show the need for creating the leadership development program! The critical success factors, competencies, and timeline will guide me through the process."
