There may never be a better time to take a workshop that easily walks you through the design, development, and testing of performance-based job aids. In today's competitive workplace, employees have more to do and less time to do it in. A critical tool to assist them in with this challenge is having the best tools (e.g. effective job aids) to help them accomplish tasks faster and smarter.

About this Program

This interactive online workshop will give you the tools, processes, and knowledge to:

Determine if there is a need for learning or knowledge (for example, skills development).
Know where this knowledge should reside (for example, in a job aid or elsewhere).
Specify the correct job aid to achieve the desired outcomes for the job.
Determine the appropriate format and structure of the job aid.
Plan and design the appropriate job aid.
Validate and test the effectiveness of the job aid.
Measure the overall impact of this job aid on achieving organizational goals.

Apply tools and processes from the workshop to create effective, performance-based job aids for their real-world situation.

Participants may transfer their registration to another seminar free of charge. The transfer request must be received in writing five (5) business days prior to the first day of the seminar for which you were originally scheduled. A $50 transfer charge will be applied to all transfers received less than five (5) days prior to the first day of the session. Participant substitutions may be made at any time with written notification to ASTD. If the substitute participant is not an ASTD member and the original participant was, the difference between the member and nonmember rate will be billed.

If cancellation should be necessary, written or email notification to ASTD is required five (5) business days prior to the first day of the seminar. You may receive a full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, up to and including the 5th business day before the seminar. If you find that you cannot attend, and it is less than five (5) business days before the start of the seminar, you may send a replacement, with written notice to ASTD. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee. All credits must be used within 1 year from the date of issuance.

On-Site Offerings

ASTD can make arrangements for this program to be offered on-site at your organization. Your attendees participate in the same learning experience offered at our public workshops, but have the convenience of being at your site and the benefit of covering the material with company peers.

Facilitators

Dennis Mankin

Dennis Mankin is the founder and Managing Partner of Platinum Performance Partners www.platinumperformancepartners.com. Mr. Mankin has an extensive professional background, including 25 years in senior management and consultative positions working in business consulting, executive coaching, sales, and Human Performance Improvement (HPI). He was certified by ISPI and Dr. Joe Harless as a CPT in August 2003 and he is a project manager and facilitator of HPI processes worldwide. He has demonstrated skills and expertise in assisting organizations in exceeding competitive organizational goals and improving overall business results using HPI processes. He is a co-author and co-publisher of Performance DNA^TM (analysis tools), used for the analysis of human performance and the “tools of choice” by over 6,000 HPI analysts worldwide. Mr. Mankin has been a member of ASTD for over 20 years and was an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa, Singapore Institute of Management, Singapore Management University, and a guest lecturer to other colleges and universities in performance improvement technologies. He has been a licensed Merchant Marine Captain since 1985.
