Session 1: What Is Emotional Intelligence?
What is emotional intelligence and what role does it play in our productivity? Current research on emotional intelligence drives home the awareness that our chaotic work lives are increasing stress, poor decisions, and rework. After completing this session, you will be able to:

- differentiate between high and low emotional intelligence by analyzing behaviors.
- identify personal goals to address disconnects through a Personal Accountability Checklist.
- discuss how to say no effectively.
- identify fight-or-flight behaviors that muddy accountability.
- list ways the six disruptive emotions shut you and your employees down.
- identify your own fight-or-flight reactions.
- quantify the impact of low emotional intelligence on quality decisions.
Session 2: The Behavioral Intelligence Assessment
The Behavioral Intelligence Assessment quantifies three important clues to emotional strength: natural strengths, current stress level, and emotional intelligence. You will review your unique profiles during this webinar session. A team model will also be built to reinforce how teams can support or undo each other’s emotional strength. After attending this session, you will be able to:
- identify natural and adapted DISC behaviors.
- develop customized strategies for growing your own emotional awareness and regulation.
- understand the beliefs behind the emotions that trigger stress.
- build your resilience for more effective decision making.
Session 3: Coping with Change
Thanks to the impact of a flat job market, technology, and financial pressures at work, we are all working harder and playing more roles than ever before. Change is accelerating and so is stress. This session will clarify the emotions triggered by change as well as concrete ways to transition more effectively. After attending this session, you will be able to:
- clarify the difference between change and transition to drive accountability.
- assess your own personal responsibility, self-empowerment, and personal accountability as it relates to change.
- use case studies to identify what causes accountability issues and what a leader should do to drive accountability.
