A: While participation in all four live sessions is mandatory in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and 0.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), you may view a recorded session on the course website after the live session in order to obtain missed educational content.
Q: How much does ROI Basics cost?
A: The course fee is US$695 for ASTD members and US$895 for nonmembers. All course materials are included in the fee, plus a downloadable weekly participant guide and a fold-out ROI model job aid and copy of Return on Investment Basics (ASTD Press, 2005) by Patricia Pulliam Phillips and Jack J. Phillips mailed at the conclusion of the program.

Q: How do I participate in the online sessions each week?
A: Prior to the start of the program, you will receive email correspondence from ASTD with instructions for setting up your machine, logging in to the web and teleconference components of the weekly online sessions, and a link to the course discussion board.
Q: What resources will I have access to other than the live webcasts?
A: Upon registration, you'll be given access to learning materials, bibliographic information, electronic tool and templates, a discussion board to post and receive answers to course-related questions, and archived recordings.
Q: Is this a certification? Will I be certified?
A: No, this is a certificate program, a learning event. Certification is a testing event that confirms that skills, knowledge, or competencies have been acquired. No test is given.
