CPLP® on Campus

ASTD, in partnership with colleges and universities, currently provides a campus-based, CPLP® instructor-led course to help you do just that! CPLP® on Campus offers you the ability to dig deeper into the ASTD nine areas of expertise making up the exam content.

The CPLP® on Campus course is ideal for individuals who prefer to learn in an interactive in-person environment with other committed professionals, and need a structured, collaborative process for preparing for the exam and work product requirements. Individuals interested in registering for a CPLP® on Campus course usually do not need to be enrolled as a student of the college or university offering the class.

Who Can Benefit from CPLP® on Campus?

This program is based on the ASTD Learning System covering the profession's nine areas of expertise: (1) designing learning, (2) delivering training, (3) improving human performance, (4) measuring and evaluating learning, (5) facilitating organizational change, (6) coaching, (7) career planning and talent management, (8) managing the learning function, and (9) managing organizational knowledge. CPLP® on Campus is primarily designed to prepare an individual for the CPLP certification. However, CPLP® credentialed individuals seeking recertification credits might find the content enriching as well.

CPLP ® Candidate Bulletin: Knowledge Exam Content Outline

For individuals who wish to put together their own resources, the CPLP® Candidate Bulletin is available to help. This information is available at no charge to the candidate.

CPLP ® Practice Exam

The CPLP® Practice Exam (pCPLP) tests your knowledge with 75 web-based, multiple-choice questions similar to those on the CPLP® knowledge exam. Complete the pCPLP to receive a high level diagnostic score in each of the nine areas tested (item-level feedback is not provided). The pCPLP has no prerequisites. Take the free exam on your time and at your own computer. It's ideal if you have already registered for a CPLP® testing window or are planning to register.
