Tim is a patient intake specialist in the health industry. As part of Tim’s role, he also manages the new associates’ orientation and training program. He enjoys training delivery, has about two years of experience, and is responsible for taking already-created curriculum and presenting it to his new training classes.
Preparing for training and facilitating are elements Tim already feels comfortable with. Where Tim would like to further develop his skills and abilities is in fully engaging participants and drawing from their own learning and professional experiences to enrich his training sessions.
How can the ASTD Master Trainer Program help Tim?
Tim (and his company, too) will be happy that the ASTD Master Trainer program will provide him with tools and resources to more fully engage participants, leading to quicker and more effective learning transfer back on the job. Not only will Tim be encouraged to master these additional skills, he will have several practice delivery opportunities and a skill demonstration component. Tim will receive individualized feedback and coaching from ASTD expert facilitators to strengthen his abilities in facilitation and training delivery.
