These valuable materials include a learning prioritization inventory to guide your learning experience, the ASTD Learning System Module 2 (Delivering Training), an online discussion led by your ASTD expert facilitator, and five ASTD Infolines: Do’s and Don’ts for New Trainers, Basics of Stand-Up Training, Ice Breakers, How to Create a Good Learning Environment, and Managing Difficult Participants. - multiple opportunities to practice delivery, including videotaping
- a knowledge test on Day 1.
- a skill demonstration on Day 4.

Part 3. Online Elective
You’ll continue your rich learning and personalized experience by completing an online offering of your choice to help you address your own unique professional development needs. Choose from the following options:
In addition to a core 4-day course and the online elective (second course), participants will be a part of an online learning community throughout the program, which allows them to access course materials, complete assignments, and reflect on their experience. They’ll walk away with easy-to-use tools to strengthen their training preparation and delivery, and enjoy the benefit of learning with a network of colleagues. Participants who successfully complete the program will earn an ASTD Master Trainer Program certificate.
ASTD estimates approximately three-four months to successfully complete the entire program.
