ISD for the Synchronous Environment

Wednesday, March 09, 2011 - by Nanette Miner

If you're moving classroom content online, it's a whole new world of instructional design! The synchronous environment requires a different perspective on common training activities such as discussion, flip charting, breakout groups, and lecture. In addition, the materials (facilitator guides, participant guides, and slides) that support the synchronous classroom are quite different. The speaker will explain the design approach of a synchronous class, the creation of synchronous-appropriate materials, and provide a variety of concrete examples.
