U.S. Comptroller General Gene Dodaro provides lessons and insights on the Government Accountability Office’s High-Risk List in The Public Manager’s fall Exchange. Dodaro is the chief steward of the congressional watchdog known as GAO. Every two years the list helps to set the oversight priorities for achieving public management effectiveness and spotlight government areas particularly vulnerable to fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
