Resources for CPLPs

Welcome, CPLP®!

As a member of the CPLP® community of professionals, we’re sure you are eager to learn about the benefits offered to CPLP®s!

Read below for information about your CPLP® certificate and lapel pin, recertification, social networking, and more!

CPLP® Registry

The CPLP® Registry allows CPLP®s to update their certification contact information as well as to opt-in to the publicly visible registry of designees. To list yourself in the registry, please follow the instructions here. To search for other CPLP®s already listed in the Registry, please visit https://i7lp.integral7.com/durango/do/pr/prSearch?ownername=astd&channel=astd. Important Note:  Certification contact information is maintained separately from ASTD membership contact information. Please be sure to make any updates in both the CPLP® database AND the www.astd.org membership website.

Certificates and Lapel Pins

Your CPLP® certificate and lapel pin will be mailed to you approximately 8 weeks after you receive your emailed work product score report.  Please keep your contact information up-to-date to ensure delivery.  Replacement pins and certificates can be requested by emailing Pat Byrd at pbyrd@astd.org . Replacement certificates will be processed on a semiannual basis.  A $25 charge may apply to cover production and shipping costs.

Recertification

To maintain the CPLP®, designees must accrue 60+ recertification points across several categories within each three year credential cycle.  For complete information about CPLP® recertification, please visit the CPLP® Recertification page. Email questions to recertification@astd.org or ddaly@astd.org.

Facebook & LinkedIn

Join the official CPLP®-only groups on the popular social networking sites LinkedIn and Facebook!  Login to your site of choice, click “Groups,” then search for “CPLP.”  Our group,”CPLP® - ASTD CI's Certified Professional in Learning & Performance”, appears near the top of the search results.  Request to join the group.  You will be approved and added to the group within 1 week of the request.

Volunteer Opportunities

Earn recertification points (and help the CPLP® program) by volunteering as an item writer, work product scorer, or another role!  Full details can be found on the CPLP® Volunteer Opportunities page.
